Any Act 04:50
I will get back at that A nice little accident An explosion from inside the flat Make an end to this dead silence In your life I will become the gentleman of destruction Create your noise tablets Keep you safe and warm in your bed I could leave but I wouldn´t get back to your warm embrace by that I could turn up the speakers and ask your friends to bring me back You´re not going to clean up this place cause I don´t check here anyway And now that I´ve conquered your fear You pretty much enjoy I´m not here You started enjoying the calm And then I brought your friends along And the ground sets our feet on fire We dance it away We just feel nothing And your tongue aches for liquor And nobody calls back You just hear nothing And the ground cracks beneath you You just grab any act to solve everything By time you´ll get back to that I think you had an accident I´m probably the one thing you feared Your tongue aches for liquor You just grab any act to solve everything

I´m way too earthbound Please get me higher I don´t know how come Don´t ask me why And everyday they´re stuck around me Ghosts on a sunny day Always politely asking them But they don´t want to go away Sweet, sweet detours And I think they are forever And I guess I was here before Another drunken sailor who never got his ship ashore Sweet, sweet detours Sometimes my spirit tires Sometimes my temper explodes I honestly don´t know why you don´t speak up at all Sweet, sweet detours I close my eyes but stay awake My god is alive My demons are dead I want to stay blind but I see instead And I think they are forever And I guess I was here before Another drunken failure who never got his shit ashore Sweet, sweet detours Why am I if I am no more? Why am I?

Last night I was sleepwalking I had visitors come over We spend the night just drinking Sat there talking Just following up Everything is good here You seem alright Now we´re here And everything is silent I woke up You disappeared I wonder what you felt like when your new car overturned And I wonder what she looked like in that new dress she just earned And I wonder what it felt like when your body caught a burn And I wonder if we drink too much and us people never learn And I wonder if you listen What´s that latency? When is my turn? Last night I was sleepwalking I had Marc and Kate come over We spend the night just drinking in a Toyota overturned I should have walked from Shropshire Arms but my umbrella didn´t work

Dancers always fall Technical failure stand up straight after all Will at our favor Freedom of movement and a chance for a new thought to turn it all around I always sleep on one side I won’t choke in the vomit Maybe the stars will collide tonight and we´ll implode into nothing Room to breathe and a chance for a new thought to turn it all around I forget the music and then I stumble upon its grave It will always find me in new ways It´s all the same Known to few A chance for a new thought to change it all around I am fine in silence I water down my chardonnay and I can’t hear the crowd noise And I don´t care anyway I can’t hear the crowd noise And there are new depths in your voice as your body ages slowly No one heard you come in No one noticed you had gone thru the crunch of hardpacked snow Silenced by the backtrack A chance for a new thought to turn it all around

How did all these idiots get in? Yesterday my local record store Today it´s a fitness center We are players in a movie Fatigue characters How did all these idiots get in? Some ridiculous cultural cancer eats us One day we will get harmed Better sound the alarm Better go and start me a band of all that you are made of Our hands always shake and you remember Our anger is deeper that yours We´ll get you back sometime with all that you are made of I wish you could calm me down somehow Take me out bowling There, issues solved We´re just fucking each other over sometimes Show me my bacon and I´ll write you records Of all that you are made of I´ll get you back this time I´m not afraid of you no more Your terror has left me unharmed Is that all that you are made of?
6.
You will never know how blind you are And I see colors in my drugged up future world I don´t feel a thing In lack of true emotions There I go I just drift around Listening to my dreadful cave sound records It is cold up here but I convince myself it´s not too bad One day I´ll wake up bossa nova-ing to Stan Getz Choking on your noise tablets But there are colors in my drugged up future world We miss these simple songs All these beautiful songs we miss out on From when we all lost it and we had another breakdown The movies we are in are cheap and cozy entertainments And this town loves it Cause this town loves everything But there are colors in my drugged up future world
7.
I swallow down all of these little helpful pills as long as I need to I close my eyes in this crowd I stand still It is not that I need you One day they´re going to hang my picture there alongside The Beatles He seem on top of the world but he´s fucked This random guy salutes you His brightly colored escapism never stops He is the rainbow that eats you Never follow him home!!! I am a balancing man Still I fall right into your figure I got my fingers on my trigger and your pulse There are little ghosts There you are, little ghost One day they´re going to hang my picture there alongside The Beatles

Ace Card 02:50
I used to move in pleasant disorientating directions to go with the random ideas They always found me and I found them some kind of meaning somewhere Somewhere inside this world I am fucking Hiroshima choking on an ace card I got the bomb BOOM!!! There I met you The true tragedy of Apartheid in a bar spilling tears into your drink complaining and proclaiming that you got robbed You will regret before feeling it Before fearing it I got it I got the bomb BOOM!!! I am fucking Hiroshima choking on an ace card I got the bomb BOOM!!!

about

Claus Funch has been roaming around on the Danish music scene for many years, and has released records as front man in the alt. rockband Funch and as part of the trio Jaruni, Moura and Wesko together with, among others Tue West. Alongside these projects he has also been a leadsinger and songwriter in The Hello Dead Goodbye, Sister Hair, Dear Lake and Lost My Heart In Copenhagen.

In his music Claus explores a wide range of genres and is constantly seeking in his music never settling. In 2014 his solo-album debut "Interpersonal Relationships" was released. Despite receiving rave reviews and critical acclaim, Funch disappeared after a few concerts in the wake of the record and emigrated to Paris with the family for 3 years to “be a father, write songs and having coffee at the local cafe.”

Funch is now residing in Copenhagen and is releasing his second solo album 'Noise Tablets’, which includes the two singles ‘Drugged Up Future World’ and ‘Sweet Detours’. Both singles have been in rotation on Amazing Radio (UK) and the 1st single was included on the compilation CD for the September issue of Relix Magazine.

“Noise Tablets” is about the artist’s desperate battle against his inner demons that surely make him the artist he ism but also depresses him to a certain degree removing his focus from the real world and bring him to a constant downward spiral, ending with the slamming of the door and the demons escape. And what comes next...

It will be available on limited edition vinyl and streaming on October 9 via Celebration Records.
